Starting in January 2018, students in the Middle and High School were given the option to take chromebooks that were assigned to them home. Parents and students had to take responsibility to lost or damaged devices and provide a case for transportation.
The Librarian for the middle and high schools will do her best to return the chromebook that was issued to the student from the previous year. If a student takes excellent care of their device, we want to give them to opportunity to keep that device from year to year.
Please note that any damaged incurred while using a school device is the responsibility of student and their parents. Starting with the 5th grade and freshmen classes, cases are being provided. It is the expectation that the chromebooks remain in the cases at all times. There is NO reason for the chromebooks to be removed from the cases. The cases are considered an "always on" case and should remain on the chromebooks.
If you have any questions, please let me or one of the district leaders know and we will do our best to get it answered.
Thank you.
