Good evening! I know this is a busy time for you, but I wanted to invite you to visit our district on April 9th. Read on for more details.
The second session of parent teacher conferences is April 9, 2024 from 4-8 PM. In addition to conferencing with teachers, we are offering two additional opportunities in conjunction with conferences. We will have a parent session with speaker Sam Demma from 5:30-6:30 PM in the gym at SHS. Mr. Demma is speaking with students from SMS and SHS earlier in the day and is excited to share information with parents district-wide to spread an inspirational message. Spokane R-VII will be preparing a quick hot dog meal for parents and students attending the speaking engagement. The meal will be served by members of the SHS Aevidum chapter.
Following Mr. Demma’s presentation, Spokane R-VII will host an open house from 6:30-8 PM on April 9th to showcase the Ag Science Center, the renovated locker rooms at SHS, the renovations in the old SMS, and the new field house at SHS. We hope you will join us to tour these spaces and see the improvements that will benefit students for years to come. We appreciate the support from our voters and taxpayers and can’t wait for you to see these projects!
